Who We Are
Many of us come from EMS, fire, and other first responder backgrounds. When disaster hits, we deploy alongside professional responders, to provide practical help and hope.
Archie Creek Fire – Glide, Oregon
When the Archie Creek Fire broke out in Glide; mechanics, paramedics, loggers, and others, came together to help. Doing whatever was needed in the chaos. This experience showed us how much was possible when skilled people showed up with the right tools and right heart. This incident became the foundation for building a formal response team to support communities during natural disasters.
Hurricane Helene – North Carolina & Tennessee
When Hurricane Helene devastated North Carolina and Tennessee, the call went out again and thanks to local generosity, we were able to send a semi-truck loaded with supplies to affected communities. Once on the ground, we removed hazard trees, mucked out homes, and gave hope to people who had lost so much.
